TO SUM UP JANUARY

January was a busy month for me. Devoting all my time to Yes Ma'am has been a real moment of realization. It so hard starting your own business, devoting all my time and funds, but it's well worth it. I met a lot of generious people who gave me the oppurtunity to cater their events. January brought a new year, my birthday, a new living situation, and has opened up tones of oppurtunities for Yes Ma'am. Now Feburary is here and we can't turm back now. I can't wait for what Feburary has to offer.

Niyah's Cupcakes

I don't get a chance to spend a lot of time with my family since I've moved in with Keinrick. I get so busy with Yes Ma'am it's practicly become impossible, so I try to use my weekends as family days. It so different when you live with someone and come back home to a house you once lived in.

We walked in the door and Aniyah, my niece, greeted me with a loud NENA! Tired and exhosted from the weekes events and making massive amounts of cupcakes. She ran up to me and gave me the biggest hug and looked up at me with her big brown eyes and said "you make me cupcakes Nena". So we did. I measured and she poured. She insisted that the cupcakes be her favorite color blue. I tried to help her stir, but of course I get "I can do it myself" speech. I was so proud of her. We just used a basic cake mix with vanilla and almond flavoring, topped with blue lemon frosting. Then Mom, Jarvis, Aniyah and I had a tea party. Jarvis was more forced to endure the lady chat, but I'm sure he didn't mind as much since he downed 4 blue heart cupcakes.
